Tabletop Junction Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tabletop Junction mobile application (the "App"), provided by Chigu Holding Limited. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

| 'Services' | Include, but are not limited to, creating game listings, finding local players, identifying potential game venues (local game stores), and utilizing the real-time chat feature. | 
| 'Game Listing' | A post created by a User detailing a planned tabletop game, including game type, required players, time, and proposed location. | 
| 'Venue' | A third-party location (typically a local game store or public place) suggested or used for a physical game meetup. | 
| 'User Content' | Any information, text, chat messages, data, or materials posted, uploaded, or shared by a User within the App. | 
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The ownership of the Tabletop Junction App (hereinafter referred to as App) is held by: Chigu Holding Limited, with registered office at: 8 Richmond Court, Richmond Dale Bristol, Bristol, BS82UX, United Kingdom.
This document regulates the conditions governing the use of the App and the Services provided on it (hereinafter, Conditions).
Our Role and Service
The activity that the Company develops through the App is strictly limited to providing a digital platform that facilitates communication and organization among tabletop gamers. Our Services include:
- Connecting Users: Allowing Users to find other local players.
 - Game Organization: Enabling Users to create, manage, and join Game Listings.
 - Venue Identification: Using User location data to suggest nearby potential Venues (e.g., local game stores).
 - Digital Communication: Providing a real-time chat service for Users to coordinate games.
 
The Company's role is strictly that of a platform provider. We are not responsible for the services, safety, or policies of any suggested Venue, nor are we responsible for the conduct, actions, or safety of Users during real-world meetups.
Agreement
In addition to reading these Conditions, before accessing, browsing, and/or using this App, the User must have read the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy (where applicable). By using this App, the User agrees to be bound by these Terms and all of the above. If the User does not agree with all of the above, the User must not use this App.
These Conditions may be modified. The User is responsible for consulting them each time they access the App.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, features, and functionality on the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Chigu Holding Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The Tabletop Junction name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Chigu Holding Limited. Users must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
4. THE USER
Access and use of the App attribute the condition of User, therefore accepting, from the start of usage, all the Conditions established herein.
The User assumes responsibility for the correct use of the App. This responsibility will extend to:
- Making use of this App only for its intended, legally valid purpose: organizing tabletop games.
 - Providing true and legal contact information (Name and Email Address) during registration.
 
The User declares to be over 13 years of age to use the App, and if under 18, confirms they have the consent of a parent or guardian.
User Misconduct and Community Guidelines
The Company is not responsible for any misconduct by other Users that occurs before, during, or after a game organized using our system. This includes any inappropriate, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike behavior exhibited by Users, especially in physical meetups.
Platform-Only Responsibility
Crucially, the Company is not responsible for the consequences of real-world interactions.
- Safety Disclaimer: The User acknowledges and agrees that their decision to meet with any other Users, or attend any game or event listed on the App, is entirely at your own risk.
 - Liability Exclusion: We expressly disclaim all liability for any personal injury, property damage, or any other loss that occurs during or in connection with real-world interactions, including meetups at local game stores or other locations.
 
Community Guidelines
Users must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Respectful Conduct: Treat all players with respect. Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or hateful speech in the digital chat.
 - Honest Representation: Provide accurate information when creating Game Listings.
 - Appropriate Communication: Communication must be respectful and related to tabletop gaming activities. Do not use the App to harass, threaten, or inappropriately contact other Users.
 
Users who engage in misconduct may face consequences, including temporary or permanent bans from the Tabletop Junction platform.
Venue Conditions and Liability
- Venue Accuracy: The App suggests Venues (e.g., local game stores) based on location data. The Company is not responsible for the condition, policies, or safety of any suggested or used Venue.
 - Third-Party Responsibility: All information regarding the Venue (operating hours, fees, policies) is the responsibility of the Venue itself. Users must verify all booking details, safety concerns, and policies directly with the Venue.
 
Public Games No Show
In the event a User fails to show up for a game they confirmed attendance for:
- Notification: Remaining Users may report the absence to the Company via privacy@tabletop-junction.app.
 - Consequence: The Company may use such reports to issue warnings or apply temporary/permanent bans from the platform at its sole discretion, based on the severity and frequency of the absence. No financial refunds or charges are managed by the Company, as the App is free and does not handle payments for game spaces.
 
5. PURCHASE OR ACQUISITION PROCESS
- Free Service: The Tabletop Junction App is entirely free to download and use.
 - No Transactions: The App does not facilitate the purchase or acquisition of services (other than the use of the free App itself). It does not handle payments for court reservations, classes, or any game-related fees.
 - User Responsibility: Any costs or fees associated with Venues (e.g., table reservation fees, food/drink purchases) are the sole responsibility of the Users and must be managed directly between the User(s) and the Venue.
 
6. PREMIUM PLAN
The Tabletop Junction App does not offer a Premium Plan, subscription service, or paid features. The App is 100% free and contains no advertising.
7. PRICES AND PAYMENT
As the App is free and contains no ads:
- Prices: All services provided by the Company through the App are £0.00.
 - Payment: No payment methods are accepted or processed by the Company through the App.
 
8. DEBT MANAGEMENT
Not applicable, as no financial transactions or debts are managed by the Company through the free App.
9. CANCELLATIONS
Right of Cancellation (App Use)
The User may cancel their right to use the App at any time by requesting account deletion via email, as outlined in the Privacy Policy. There are no fees or charges associated with cancelling the use of the free App.
Game Listing Cancellation
Users are responsible for cancelling or updating their own Game Listings within the App. The Company is not responsible for the failure of a User to show up or cancel a game.
10. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTIFICATIONS
All essential non-marketing communications from the Company to the User will be primarily through in-app Push Notifications related to game organization (e.g., new chat messages, game invites) or via email for account-related issues (e.g., password resets, account deletion confirmation).
11. WAIVER
The Company's failure to insist upon strict performance of any of the User’s obligations under these Terms or our failure to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies.
12. NULLITY
Should any part of these Conditions be declared null and void by a firm resolution issued by a competent authority, the remaining terms shall remain in force, without being affected by said declaration of nullity.
13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and any document expressly referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Company regarding the use of the App.
14. DATA PROTECTION
The processing of User personal data is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which adheres to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using the App, you consent to such processing as described in that Policy.
15. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (or the applicable jurisdiction within the United Kingdom), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
16. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
The User may send complaints and claims to the Company via privacy@tabletop-junction.app.
17. UPDATES TO TERMS
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify Users of material changes via an in-app notification or email.
18. AGE RESTRICTIONS
The minimum age to use the App is 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
19. FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond the Company's reasonable control.
20. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
21. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CONTENT
The App may contain links to third-party websites or Venues. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or safety of these external sites or locations.
22. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Users retain ownership of their User Content (Game Listings, chat messages) but grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content only as necessary to provide the Services (e.g., displaying a Game Listing to other Users).
23. TERMINATION
The Company may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@tabletop-junction.app.
24. LANGUAGE
These Terms are available in the English language.
